  36. I think the most likely cause of this is that you aren't loading
  37. David Pilling's serial buffer module.

  39. Check the modles you have loaded when Acornet has started and see if
  40. it's there.

  42. I remember having similar problems when I changed to a RPC - it was
  43. very disappointing, but the seial buffer cured it.
